The HT Group opens new office in South Austin to combat labor shortage
The HT Group to serve South Austin, Buda, Kyle, and San Marcos from South Congress office.
Austin, TX – Staffing and recruiting firm, The HT Group, opened a new office in South Austin on June 17. Located at 8708 South Congress Ave, the new office serves South Austin, Buda, Kyle, and San Marcos by helping employers fill temporary staffing positions and assisting job seekers in their search for the right job. From its new office, The HT Group will fill positions in a variety of industries, including office clerical, accounting, customer service, warehouse, logistics, and manufacturing.
With the addition of the office on South Congress Avenue, The HT Group now has three locations: its headquarters in North Central Austin, the South Congress location, and an office in Beaumont. According to Mark Turpin, Founder and CEO of The HT Group, one reason the company is expanding to South Austin is to assist with the growing labor shortage – a result of record low unemployment rates. The unemployment rate in Austin is 2.8 percent as of May, much lower than the national average of 3.9 percent.
