The HT Group seeking a dependable Warehouse Worker for our client located in Sulphur, LA. Please note: the client is only considering candidates who are local to the Sulphur and close surrounding area.
Must pass background check (No Felonies) and drug test. A drug screening is required after an offer is made and will take place in Orange, TX. The warehouse is covered and indoors but does not have air conditioning. Casual attire such as sneakers and shorts is permitted, and steel-toe boots are not necessary.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and ship materials
- Stock shelves and maintain inventory organization
- Cut and prepare cable for orders
- Unload trucks efficiently and safely
- Operate a forklift (certification is a plus)
- Match purchase orders with sales orders to ensure accuracy
- File requisitions, work orders, and material requests
- Label all incoming and outgoing materials correctly
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse and work environment
Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse experience
- Ability to lift and move heavy materials
- Basic computer skills for inventory and filing tasks
- Forklift certification is a plus but not required
Employment Type: Contract-to-hire opportunity
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (overtime available during peak times)
Pay Rate: $18/hr
