Position: Vice President, Technology Transformation

Role Overview
The Vice President, Technology Transformation is a senior leadership role responsible for driving technology-enabled value creation across a portfolio of operating companies. This individual will lead the full lifecycle of transformation initiatives—from identifying high-impact opportunities and building business cases, to executing implementations and measuring results.
This is a highly hands-on role suited for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys turning strategy into execution. The position requires strong business acumen, technical fluency, and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
Key Responsibilities Technology Strategy & Opportunity Identification
- Evaluate emerging technologies, including AI and automation tools, to identify high-ROI opportunities across portfolio companies
- Conduct market research, vendor evaluations, and industry analysis to stay current on trends and capabilities
- Partner with leadership teams to assess operational inefficiencies and prioritize technology-driven improvements
- Build and manage a pipeline of high-impact transformation initiatives
Implementation & Change Management
- Lead end-to-end implementation of technology initiatives, including vendor coordination and solution deployment
- Develop project plans, manage timelines, and ensure delivery within scope and budget
- Drive adoption through effective change management and stakeholder engagement
- Track performance against defined KPIs and validate business outcomes
Financial Analysis & Business Case Development
- Develop detailed financial models and ROI analyses for proposed initiatives
- Define success metrics, including cost savings, revenue impact, and payback periods
- Collaborate with leadership to validate assumptions and align on investment decisions
Portfolio Optimization & Scaling
- Create frameworks and playbooks to replicate successful initiatives across multiple companies
- Standardize vendor selection, contracting, and pricing strategies to drive efficiencies
- Develop tools and templates to streamline implementation and improve consistency
Firm-Level Technology Enablement
- Serve as a subject matter expert on technology transformation and AI initiatives
- Support internal teams with the evaluation and deployment of firm-wide tools and capabilities
Governance & Reporting
- Establish reporting frameworks to track and communicate financial and operational impact
- Present results and insights to senior leadership and investment stakeholders
- Support training and enablement efforts to ensure long-term adoption and capability building
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA or related) preferred
- 8+ years of experience in technology transformation, consulting, or enterprise technology implementation
- Proven track record of leading initiatives from concept through execution and delivering measurable business impact
- Strong understanding of enterprise technologies (e.g., ERP, CRM, BI, automation tools) and AI applications
- Experience evaluating vendors and making build vs. buy decisions
- Strong financial acumen, including experience building ROI models and analyzing business performance
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across all levels of an organization
- Comfortable operating in ambiguous, fast-moving environments
- Experience working with private equity firms or portfolio companies is a plus
- Strong project management capabilities, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
Location & Travel
- This role is onsite in their north Atlanta office location. Candidates must be local to Atlanta or willing to relocate.
- Initial onboarding may include time spent at a secondary office location in Florida
- Travel of approximately 25–50% is expected to support portfolio company initiatives and industry engagement
