Senior Salesforce Developer
The selected candidate will design, develop, and maintain scalable Salesforce solutions, including Apex classes, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and OmniStudio components. This role also involves building and supporting integrations using enterprise integration platforms and APIs (REST/SOAP), as well as digital document workflows.
Additionally, the candidate will play a key role in enabling AI-driven platform capabilities, including Agentforce, with responsibilities spanning prompt orchestration, model configuration, guardrails, and secure use of generative AI for summarization and decision-support use cases.
The candidate will collaborate within Agile Scrum teams, follow established development and security standards, support CI/CD deployment processes, ensure compliance with secure cloud environments, and deliver high-quality enterprise-grade Salesforce solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret technical documentation, policies, and system requirements; translate business needs into scalable technical solutions
- Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Design, develop, and maintain Salesforce solutions using Apex, LWC, and OmniStudio tools
- Collaborate with administrators to support declarative configurations where appropriate
- Enable and administer Agentforce capabilities (prompt templates, model configurations, guardrails, audit tracking, and AI governance)
- Build and maintain integrations with external systems using APIs and middleware platforms
- Ensure data governance, security classification, retention policies, and auditability across integrations
- Support data platform initiatives such as ingestion, identity resolution, and segmentation
- Assist with dashboard-related technical components and reporting enhancements
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
- Contribute across all SDLC phases including design, development, testing, and release
- Perform unit and integration testing; support user acceptance testing (UAT)
- Identify and mitigate risks and technical issues in collaboration with the team
- Provide mentorship, guidance, and knowledge sharing to other developers
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in Agile/Scrum development environments using user stories and acceptance criteria
- 8+ years of experience delivering user-focused application designs
- 6+ years of experience delivering multiple full lifecycle Salesforce implementations
- 6+ years of experience with Salesforce OmniStudio (FlexCards, DataRaptors, Integration Procedures)
- 6+ years of experience developing integrations using Salesforce APIs and third-party services
- 6+ years of experience with testing practices (unit, integration, UAT support)
- 6+ years of strong written and verbal communication skills
- 4+ years of experience supporting large-scale or multi-org Salesforce environments
- 4+ years working with complex security and compliance requirements
- 3+ years of experience with collaboration and productivity tools (e.g., office suites, team platforms)
- 3+ years of experience with CI/CD and DevOps pipelines
- 3+ years of experience with enterprise data platforms (e.g., data ingestion and identity resolution)
- 2+ years of experience contributing to estimation, code reviews, and sprint planning
- Salesforce Platform Developer I certification
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with Agentforce (prompt orchestration, guardrails, AI governance, and auditability)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with accessible UI/UX design and compliance standards (e.g., WCAG/Section 508)
- Experience with enterprise architecture patterns and solution design
- Experience defining and promoting development standards and best practices
- Experience collaborating across multiple technical and business teams
- Experience with Agile project management and documentation tools
- Familiarity with security and compliance frameworks
- Experience in public sector or highly regulated environments
