We are seeking a Security Systems Program Manager that is responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, integration, and ongoing management of electronic physical security systems across the organization. This includes access control, surveillance (CCTV), intrusion detection, alarm systems, visitor management, and other related technologies. The Program Manager will ensure all systems meet business requirements, comply with relevant regulations and policies, and align with overall security strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the full lifecycle of security systems projects—from concept and vendor selection through implementation and maintenance.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (IT, Facilities, Legal, Risk, HR) and external vendors to develop and execute security technology roadmaps.
- Oversee system performance, upgrades, integrations, and troubleshooting for access control, video surveillance, alarm systems, and other security infrastructure.
- Manage project budgets, timelines, procurement, and contract negotiation for security systems.
- Develop and maintain system standards, SOPs, and documentation for operational consistency and audit readiness.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, federal, and industry-specific security regulations and standards (e.g., NIST, FISMA, HIPAA, PCI).
- Drive continuous improvement through evaluation of new technologies, system analytics, and performance metrics.
- Lead cross-functional teams, consultants, and integrators during system upgrades or facility expansions.
- Train and support internal teams on the use and administration of security systems.
- Conduct risk assessments and provide technical expertise during security incident investigations.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Security Management, or related field (required).
- 5+ years of experience managing electronic security systems and infrastructure projects.
- Experience in a complex environment (e.g., corporate campuses, healthcare facilities, data centers, or government) strongly preferred.
Certifications (preferred but not required):
- PMP (Project Management Professional)
- PSP (Physical Security Professional)
- CPP (Certified Protection Professional)
- Manufacturer-specific certifications (Lenel, Genetec, Avigilon, etc.)
Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, and integration with IT systems.
- Familiarity with IP networks, PoE devices, and cybersecurity principles related to physical security.
- Proficient in project management tools and platforms (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira).
Soft Skills:
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
