The HT Group is currently assisting one of our Tampa Bay area retail sector clients in the search for an experienced Regional HR Manager for an immediate need. This individual will be supporting up to 70 locations in employee relations, management support, and store recruiting functions.

Direct Hire – Remote (Must Reside in Tampa/Ability to Travel to Multiple Regional Locations) – Base range up to $115K + bonus DOE/Excellent Benefits

Duties, Responsibilities, and Attributes Needed:

  • Manage, coach, and develop dedicated recruiting resources.
  • Guides, trains and directs business partners on HR related federal, state and local laws and company policies, practices and procedures.
  • Guides and supports field leadership in the long and short-term planning in human resources areas such as staffing, associate development and succession planning.
  • Manages regional recruiting, selection/screening and on-boarding processes to ensure vacant and backfill positions are identified and filled in a timely manner.
  • Interviews applicants and provides interview results to hiring manager, along with recommendation.
  • Assists in identifying high potential associates for development.
  • Monitors human resources metrics reporting and uses as a tool when coaching and mentoring.
  • Acts as a consultant and advisor on recommended solutions and follow up.
  • Educates managers on organizational policy matters such as equal employment opportunity and sexual harassment.
  • Conducts harassment and EEO training as necessary to educate associates regarding appropriate professional behavior.
  • Conducts exit interviews as necessary.
  • Provides quality work, products and processes to ensure complete satisfaction.

 Qualifications:

  • Bachelors’ degree in Business, Human Resources, or related course of study required.
  • PHR or SPHR certification preferred.
  • Experience in a retail, hospitality or multi-location setting required.
  • Must be available to travel regionally to store locations 2-3 days/week.
  • Experience using multiple tools to manage recruiting, pre-screening and online testing processes.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of applicable HR laws and regulations.
  • Ability to build highly effective business partnerships using consultative skills and diplomacy.
  • Proven ability to build high quality, service-oriented customer relations by identifying and solving customer concerns and ensuring that customer issues are resolved promptly and accurately.
  • Ability to deliver clear, articulate and persuasive written and oral communications appropriate for the intended audience.
  • Ability to make data-driven, timely decisions using sound analysis.
  • Ability to build positive, professional and trusting work relationships.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy; and time management and organizational skills.
  • Highly proficient in the use of MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
