The HT Group is currently seeking a Quality Manager for a growing manufacturing entity near Terre Haute, IN (onsite). The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in quality and compliance related to the aerospace industry and its related certifications and requirements.

Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure the Quality Management System (QMS) conforms to customer, AS9100, NADCAP, and applicable regulatory and legal requirements
- Oversee inspection of incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products to ensure compliance with requirements
- Supervise inspection personnel, including scheduling and performance management
- Train employees on quality procedures
- Perform root cause analysis of system and product discrepancies and implement corrective actions
- Analyze failures and corrective/preventive actions to effectively respond to customer complaints
- Evaluate the precision and accuracy of production, testing, measurement, and analytical equipment through MSA studies
- Perform Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) on new programs to minimize risk through prevention and continuous improvement
- Manage the monitoring, measurement, and review of internal processes
- Partner with Engineering and Operations to achieve company objectives
- Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data
- Assist in developing training programs to build quality awareness
- Conduct internal and external audits
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Interpret and work from blueprints, drawings, templates, preliminary sketches, and work orders
Requirements:
- Knowledge of Lean principles
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in aerospace manufacturing
- Knowledge of NADCAP and AS9100 requirements
- High school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
- Three to five years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Working knowledge of shop mathematics, blueprints, GD&T, models, and machining characteristics of materials
- Computer skills necessary to operate spreadsheets, email, PowerPoint, and web-based applications
- Basic knowledge of workplace health and safety practices
- Strong verbal and interpersonal skills to establish and maintain effective working relationships
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Knowledge of 5S and Lean principles
- Strong problem-solving skills, including root cause corrective action (RCCA); ability to identify, analyze, and resolve problems
- Strong analytical skills, including the ability to collect, research, and analyze data (knowledge of SPC)
- Experience performing Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) to minimize risk through prevention and continuous improvement
- Proficient in researching, interpreting, and applying customer specifications, work instructions, and procedures
