The HT Group is partnering with a beverage development and flavoring company to find a QC Technician! This person will be responsible for the evaluation and testing of all incoming raw materials and production batches to ensure product specifications are met. W are looking for candidates with hands-on laboratory experience and a strong understanding of QA/QC for flavors and/or food.

Responsibilities
- Support daily operations of QA/QC team
- Conduct and document organoleptic testing of intermediates and finished products for approval
- Document sensory evaluations of incoming raw materials
- Administer QC Hold program for out-of-spec batches, determining corrective actions
- Assist with evaluating pre-shipment samples of raw materials
- Perform particle size analysis for selected finished products
- Prepare samples for allergen and microbiological testing
- Generate Packing Lists and COAs before order shipment
- Inspect outgoing shipments for order count, labeling accuracy, and address verification
- Conduct compound stability tests and occasionally prepare lab samples for evaluation
- Evaluate on-hand inventory and customer samples for potential shelf life extensions
- Assist Regulatory with COA and SDS document requests
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of laboratory experience in flavoring/food/FDA environment
- Strong understanding of food safety
- Background in food science highly preferred
- Familiarity of HACCP, GMPs, and SOPs
- Highly attentive to detail and tech savvy
