Project & Business Operations Consultant – Austin, Texas
Position Overview
The Project & Business Operations Consultant will provide strategic and operational support to senior leadership and cross-functional teams. This role partners with business stakeholders to evaluate processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and support initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and organizational performance.
The consultant will analyze business challenges, develop recommendations, and assist with the implementation of process improvements, performance measurement frameworks, and change management activities. Additionally, the role will support vendor relationships, procurement processes, contract administration, and the management of various business applications and operational tools.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Business Administration, Finance, Information Systems, Public Administration, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience analyzing business data and developing reports, dashboards, spreadsheets, process flows, and executive-level presentations.
- 8+ years of experience identifying solutions for complex business and operational challenges.
- 8+ years of experience conducting financial analysis, cost-benefit evaluations, and total cost of ownership assessments.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience supporting business process improvement and organizational initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience supporting sourcing, procurement, or vendor management activities.
- 3+ years of experience with financial systems, invoice processing, budgeting, or payment reconciliation.
- 1+ year of experience with contract administration, vendor negotiations, and supplier relationship management.
- 1+ year of experience evaluating emerging technologies, industry trends, and benchmarking data to support business decisions.
- 2+ years of experience gathering, analyzing, and translating stakeholder requirements into actionable solutions.
- 2+ years of experience collaborating effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders across multiple business functions.
- Experience supporting change management, operational transformation, or continuous improvement initiatives.
