The HT Group has a technology client in Austin, TX looking for an Office Manager who is proactive, resourceful, and highly organized to oversee day-to-day office operations, coordinate events, and provide onsite support for leadership and staff at their corporate headquarters.
Contract-to-hire
$31/hr
30 hours a week: Monday-Thursday
Responsibilities:
- Manage vendor relationships including food and beverage, property management, and security providers
- Organize and execute office events such as team lunches, staff meetings, and team-building activities
- Use JIRA to track and manage facility-related requests
- Keep common areas (kitchen, lounges, meeting rooms) stocked and orderly
- Coordinate shipping and receiving needs for the office
- Support the onboarding and offboarding process for onsite employees
- Partner with Workplace and Leadership teams to assist with meetings, travel arrangements, and other senior leadership needs
Requirements:
- Prior experience as an Office Manager or Executive Assistant in a fast-paced environment
- Strong time management and multitasking abilities with a proactive mindset
- Ability to build strong cross-functional relationships and communicate effectively
- Curious, solutions-driven, and eager to learn new systems or processes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Positive, approachable, and team-oriented personality
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
