The HT Group is partnering with an IP law firm based in Houston to find an experienced Litigation Paralegal to support attorneys through all phases of litigation, including trial preparation and on-site support. This role is highly hands-on and requires strong organization, attention to detail, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment. *Experience with patent litigation and trial support is required to be considered*

Compensation: $65-70k + bonus Key Responsibilities
- Support cases from pre-trial through trial, ensuring organization and timely execution
- Travel ahead of attorneys to prepare trial materials, set up war rooms, and manage logistics
- Provide on-site trial support, coordinating activities for attorneys and litigation teams
- Communicate with opposing counsel and support staff regarding logistics, document exchange, and scheduling
- Manage document production, including Bates numbering, organization, and quality control
- Prepare, review, and file legal documents with courts and administrative bodies, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines
- Maintain case calendars, tracking court dates, deadlines, and key milestones
- Organize exhibits, deposition transcripts, and trial binders for easy access and accuracy
- Assist with hearing and trial preparation, including coordinating materials and witness logistics
- Ensure all filings comply with court rules and procedural requirements
- Serve as a central point of coordination across attorneys, clients, and external partners
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s preferred
- 5+ years of experience in patent prosecution and/or litigation support
- Proven trial support experience, including courtroom or war room environments
- Strong understanding of litigation processes and court filing procedures
- Experience with document management systems and e-discovery tools
- Proficiency in Bates numbering and large-scale document production
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and accountability
- Willingness to travel as needed
- Ability to work extended hours during trial periods, including evenings and weekends
