WORK DESCRIPTION: We seek a driven, results-oriented individual to support the network team. This individual’s primary responsibilities will be supporting the building, moving to production of the ScienceLogic technology, and providing ongoing support and maintenance of the network components supported by that implementation. The primary responsibilities of this position are:
- Support the building and configuration of the ScienceLogic infrastructure.
- Create, test, and move to production the alerting capabilities for the supported network devices.
- Monitoring and identification of network events that require mitigation.
- Troubleshooting and resolution of escalated network events
Minimum Years Skills/Experience:
6+ years Configuring, implementing, and managing ScienceLogic and/or IT Enterprise Monitoring Systems
4+ years Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver network solutions.
4+ years Configuring, implementing, and managing network devices.
4+ years Monitoring and troubleshooting complex network switches, routers, and firewalls.
4+ years Operating, managing, and supporting routing protocols, specifically BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, and VXLAN. 4+ Operating, managing, and supporting next-generation firewalls.
4+ years Operating, managing, and supporting wireless networks.
4+ years Operating, managing, and supporting DNS.
4+ years Operating, managing, and supporting software-defined networks.
4+ years Operating, managing, and supporting network access controls.
Preferred:
Years Skills/Experience:
2 years of experience complying with regulatory controls.
