This is a full-time opportunity; ideally looking for a candidate in the southeastern United States as the main locations are in Alabama, North Carolina, and Mississippi. Will primarily be remote, with some occasional travel.

With a strong acquisition pipeline and a hands-on leadership team, the organization is poised for continued expansion across multiple U.S. markets.
This is a unique opportunity for an entrepreneurial IT Manager who thrives in fast-paced, acquisitive environments. The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise, proven experience in IT systems integration during M&A transactions, and ideally, familiarity with insurance agency management software.
What You’ll Do:
- Own and Manage IT Infrastructure: Lead day-to-day operations of networks, cloud services, endpoints, and internal systems across multiple locations.
- M&A IT Integration: Collaborate with leadership and integration teams to assess, plan, and execute IT integration for new acquisitions.
- End-User Support: Deliver hands-on technical support to employees, ensuring timely resolution of hardware, software, and network issues.
- Cybersecurity & Compliance: Oversee security protocols, system backups, encryption, and compliance standards across the organization.
- Vendor & Asset Management: Maintain relationships with IT vendors, manage procurement, and oversee the full lifecycle of IT assets.
- System Optimization: Evaluate and implement improvements to enhance system performance, scalability, and security.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with senior leadership, operations, and third-party advisors to align IT strategy with business goals.
- Disaster Recovery: Design and maintain disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity.
Who You Are:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT management, preferably in a high-growth or private equity-backed business.
- Strong technical foundation in systems administration, networking, cloud platforms, and cybersecurity best practices.
- Demonstrated success in managing IT integration for M&A transactions.
- Familiarity with insurance agency management systems (Applied Epic, AMS360, or HawkSoft) is a major plus.
- Comfortable supporting multi-site operations and hybrid work environments.
- Proficient with technologies such as Windows Server environments, SSO, MDM, IAM, and VoIP (e.g. GoTo Connect).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical issues into business language.
- Self-starter with a hands-on mindset and strong organizational and project management abilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
