We are hiring IT Field Technician’s to support our datacenter and clients in Corsicana, TX. This position is 100% onsite.
Work schedule: M-F 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. + on-call rotation for some nights and weekeds
This is a direct hire fulltime opportunity. Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
Responsibilities of IT Field Technician:
- Supporting routers switches, racks, firewalls.
- Responsible for maintaining managed service customer computer networks to ensure SLA’s are met.
- Communicates with customer and team members daily to ensure objectives are met.
- Periodically assigned technical project work to be completed in addition to daily operations tasks.
- Spends remaining balance of time on technical training and certification outlined in their training plan.
- Logs time daily to reflect tasks completed.
- Travels to customer site as needed to complete the above requirements.
- Adheres to on-call schedule for after-hours
Preferred Experience:
- 1+ years technical field support
- certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA+, Network+
- Experience working in an OSHA enviroment
- Experience with Salesforce or similar ticketing systems
- Outstanding customer service skills
