IT Asset Disposal Specialist
We’re hiring an IT Asset Disposal Specialist to join our team. This role is a great opportunity for someone interested in IT asset management and hands-on operational work involving the secure handling of technology equipment.
In this position, you’ll help ensure that IT devices are properly processed through secure data destruction, recycling, or donation, while maintaining accurate records and supporting inventory tracking efforts.
What You’ll Do:
- Perform secure data destruction on computers and other IT equipment following established protocols
- Support inventory tracking and asset management processes
- Coordinate with Austin Recovery to manage device recycling and donation efforts
- Maintain accurate records using Excel and internal systems
- Follow documented procedures and company policies for IT asset disposal
What We’re Looking For:
- A+ certification or foundational IT knowledge is a plus
- Basic Excel skills (data entry, sorting, simple formulas)
- Strong communication skills and professionalism
- Detail-oriented with the ability to follow processes accurately
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
This position will be onsite Monday – Friday with the work hours set from 8:00 am – 5:00 pm.
