The HT Group is currently hiring an HR/Payroll Clerk for a well-established client in Beaumont, TX. This is a contract role with a potential to become a permanent position based on performance and client needs. $16–$18/hr DOE | Mon-Fri, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM. 
Responsibilities:

  • Process payroll accurately and on time
  • Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies
  • Maintain employee HR files, records, and documentation
  • Assist with HR policies and procedures
  • Perform high-volume data entry
  • Manage and organize physical filing systems
  • Provide general clerical and administrative support as needed

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in HR, payroll, or a related administrative role required
  • Strong data entry skills – testing will be administered
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and handle confidential information with discretion
