The HT Group is currently hiring an HR/Payroll Clerk for a well-established client in Beaumont, TX. This is a contract role with a potential to become a permanent position based on performance and client needs. $16–$18/hr DOE | Mon-Fri, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM.
Responsibilities:
- Process payroll accurately and on time
- Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies
- Maintain employee HR files, records, and documentation
- Assist with HR policies and procedures
- Perform high-volume data entry
- Manage and organize physical filing systems
- Provide general clerical and administrative support as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in HR, payroll, or a related administrative role required
- Strong data entry skills – testing will be administered
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and handle confidential information with discretion
