The HT Group is partnering with a property management company in Austin to find an HR Generalist! This person will be responsible for supporting HR initiatives such as recruitment and onboarding, employee relations, and ensuring compliance with HR policies and regulations. If you are organized, detail-oriented, and have experience managing recruitment and running monthly new hire orientation programs, we want to hear from you!

Location: Southwest Austin TX
Compensation: $70-85k base + great benefits
Responsibilities:
- Assist with recruitment efforts, including posting job openings, screening resumes, and facilitating the hiring process
- Partner closely with hiring managers to ensure a smooth and efficient hiring process
- Coordinate employee on-boarding including orientation, paperwork, and training
- Provide guidance on HR matters including benefits, policies, and procedures
- Handle employee relations issues including complaints, disciplinary actions, etc.
- Promote a positive work environment and strong employee engagement
- Administer HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations
- Maintain employee records and HR databases
- Provide HR guidance and support to employees and management on HR-related matters
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in HR or related field preferred
- 4+ years in HR generalist or similar role
- Bilingual in English/Spanish highly preferred
- ADP experience highly preferred
- Experience working with hourly workforce preferred
- Must have experience managing recruitment/on-boarding process
- Strong understanding of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must have strong attention to detail and organization skills
