The HT Group is partnering with a reputable law firm to hire a highly organized and professional Executive Assistant to support senior leadership and a fast-paced legislative/legal affairs team. This role requires someone who can operate independently, manage competing priorities, and handle both executive-level business support and occasional personal assistant responsibilities with discretion and professionalism. This is a high-visibility position in a dynamic environment that requires strong communication skills, sound judgment, and the ability to thrive under pressure.

Dowtown Austin TX (Onsite) | Comp DOE | Direct Hire

Responsibilities:

  • Provide executive support to firm Partner as well as senior leadership and legal/policy teams
  • Manage complex calendars, scheduling, travel arrangements, meetings, and time-sensitive priorities
  • Serve as a gatekeeper for communications, helping prioritize requests and manage workflow efficiently
  • Coordinate events, stakeholder meetings, receptions, and other high-level functions
  • Prepare presentations, reports, briefing materials, agendas, and professional correspondence
  • Support compliance and reporting activities, including tracking meetings, expenses, and related documentation
  • Handle expense reports, billing support, document preparation, and general administrative tasks
  • Assist with logistics, reservations, and special projects as needed
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in politically sensitive or high-profile environments

Qualifications

  • Prior experience supporting executives, attorneys, or senior leadership in a fast-paced environment
  • Legal or professional services industry experience preferred 
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • High level of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Experience coordinating travel, meetings, and event logistics
  • Comfortable handling shifting priorities and occasional after-hours support when needed
