We are seeking a Director of Product Management to lead and grow our product management team while maintaining direct ownership of key product initiatives. This is a hands-on leadership role designed for a player-coach—someone who thrives on mentoring others while still actively participating in the product lifecycle. This leader will be instrumental in establishing repeatable, scalable product management processes—ensuring work moves effectively from customer discovery and ideation through backlog readiness and delivery. This is a highly collaborative role that will work closely with Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Support to deliver innovative video surveillance solutions that meet customer needs and fuel business growth.

Job Responsibilities
As Director of Product Management, you will:
-Lead the Product Team: Manage and mentor a growing team of Product Managers. Create a culture of accountability, growth, and collaboration.
-Own Key Product Lines: Directly manage one or more major product areas, from conception to launch and beyond.
-Define Product Vision & Roadmaps: Develop and communicate clear roadmaps that align with our business goals and customer needs.
-Drive Product Execution: Collaborate with Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Support to deliver product enhancements on time and with measurable impact.
-Gather & Analyze Feedback: Collect input from internal stakeholders, customers, and partners to validate opportunities and inform prioritization.
-Product Lifecycle Management: Ensure products are delivered with strong documentation, effective go-to-market support, and clear feedback loops.
-Improve Product Processes: Help establish repeatable processes for planning, discovery, and delivery that scale as the organization grows.
-Support Sales & Customer Success: Serve as a subject-matter expert and advocate for the product in both internal and external engagements.
Travel:
Occasional travel may be required for customer discovery, industry events, or strategic planning meetings.
Qualifications:
7+ years in product management, with 2+ years in a mentoring or people leadership role.
Experience working in or with cross-functional product teams (Engineering, Marketing, Sales).
Demonstrated success shipping B2B or enterprise software products; video surveillance, security, or SaaS experience is a strong plus.
Skills – Technical & Leadership:
Strong technical acumen; capable of speaking fluently with engineers and understanding architecture tradeoffs.
Skilled in product management tools and platforms (e.g., Jira, Confluence, or similar).
Strong communication, presentation, and storytelling skills.
Data-driven decision maker; experience using analytics to validate and prioritize product work.
