The HT group has a client in need of a contract to hire an Accounting Controller that will play a vital part of our dynamic team, ensuring the efficient and effective financial operations. Responsibilities encompass various financial duties, such as overseeing bank accounts, budgeting, managing AP/AR, payroll, handling vendor requests, managing customer accounts, bank reconciliation, and managing expenses. Strong understanding of accounting principles, meticulous attention to detail, and adeptness at multitasking are crucial for this role. Proficiency in QuickBook or NetSuite or Procore is required.
Qualifications: Education, Experience, and Skills
Education:
· A deep understanding of accounting principles.al
· BS in Accounting or Finance.
Experience:
· Experience in Construction or electric industry is required.
· Minimum of 4-6 years accounting experience.
Skills:
· Exceptional attention to detail, ability to efficiently manage multiple tasks, proficiency in QuickBooks (advantageous), and strong analytical and organizational skills.
· Intermediate to advanced working knowledge of Excel.
· Strong customer service skills.
· Self-motivated, quick learner, resourceful.
· Attention to detail – analytical and organizational skills.
· Demonstrated ability to handle multiple assignments/prioritize.
