We’re seeking an experienced and proactive Collections Manager for financial institution client to build and lead their consumer loan collections function. This is a new role, starting with a team of one and expected to grow. Ideal candidates will bring strong consumer lending collections experience and leadership skills to develop efficient processes and provide support to loan officers currently managing their own collections.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and lead the consumer loan collections function from the ground up
- Develop and implement efficient collection strategies and procedures
- Partner with Loan Officers to centralize and streamline collections efforts
- Monitor delinquency trends and report on portfolio risk
- Hire, train, and manage additional collections staff as the team expands
