Our client is building a full-service residential landscaping platform focused on the South Florida market. This is a rare opportunity to step in as CEO from day one, lead a company from inception, and help shape its long-term direction and success. Structured as a holding company, the platform will house several specialized service brands. The CEO will be responsible for defining and executing the overall strategic vision, recruiting and managing a high-performing leadership team, driving both organic and M&A-led growth.
*Must live in Miamia/South Florida area or willing to relocate*
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Vision & Execution: Set the long-term strategy for the platform and its portfolio of brands.
- P&L Ownership: Lead revenue growth and margin expansion through direct oversight of operations and financial performance.
- Team Building & Leadership: Recruit and develop a world-class executive team. Foster a culture of performance, accountability, and results.
- M&A Leadership: Identify, evaluate, and integrate acquisition targets that enhance the platform’s service capabilities and geographic footprint.
- Operational Oversight: Lead through your direct reports, ensuring strong systems, processes, and operational excellence across the organization.
- Partner Collaboration: Work closely with investment partners to align on the value creation plan, growth milestones, and capital allocation.
Qualifications:
- Prior CEO or similar leadership experience, ideally in service-oriented, multi-unit or consumer focused business
- Background in private equity back or growth stage environment highly preferred
- Prior M&A and integration experience is a must
- Comfortable with ambiguity and building from scratch
- Strong interpersonal and team leadership skills
