Business Systems Analyst / CRM Data Migration Consultant

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst to evaluate existing business systems, document stakeholder requirements, and recommend technology solutions that improve operational efficiency and service delivery. This role will analyze current business processes, identify opportunities for automation and system enhancements, and support technology initiatives focused on customer relationship management (CRM) platforms and data modernization.
Tableau – used for data analytics and visualizations
SharePoint and Salesforce – these tools are implemented but team does not fully utilize them and they would like to start.
This is an opportunity for someone to come in and give direction on these tools and lead the initiative. They will work with the data office and IT Application group. Their contacts will be Project Managers, first level managers/Leads.
The ideal candidate has strong experience with business process analysis, CRM data migration, reporting, and cross-functional project coordination.
Responsibilities
- Analyze existing business systems, workflows, and operational processes to identify improvement opportunities.
- Gather, document, and validate business and user requirements through stakeholder interviews and workshops.
- Develop detailed functional documentation outlining user needs, business requirements, and system capabilities.
- Document current-state and future-state business processes using industry-standard process mapping methodologies.
- Recommend technology solutions that align with organizational goals and improve operational efficiency.
- Support CRM modernization efforts, including data migration, system integration, and automation initiatives.
- Analyze and validate data quality before, during, and after migration activities.
- Design reports and dashboards that provide actionable business insights.
- Coordinate implementation activities between business stakeholders, technical teams, and project leadership.
- Assist with solution testing, user acceptance activities, and implementation planning.
- Provide documentation, training materials, and knowledge transfer to support successful adoption of new processes and technologies.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience managing technology or business process improvement projects requiring both technical expertise and project coordination.
- 4+ years of experience supporting CRM data migration, integration, or automation initiatives.
- 4+ years of experience performing business process analysis, process mapping, and process reengineering.
- 4+ years of experience working with CRM and collaboration platforms such as Salesforce, SharePoint, Constant Contact, or similar enterprise solutions.
- 4+ years of experience performing data quality validation, reporting, and analytics.
- 4+ years of experience analyzing and interpreting data using tools such as Microsoft Excel, Tableau, or similar reporting platforms.
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of formal project management experience, preferably with a PMP certification.
- 3+ years of experience performing financial analysis, cost-benefit analysis, or evaluating technology solution alternatives.
- Experience facilitating cross-functional workshops and stakeholder meetings.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Experience supporting enterprise technology transformation or digital modernization initiatives.
