Overview
We’re looking for a detail-oriented Business Analyst to help uncover insights across vendor management and procurement processes. This role will focus heavily on identifying inefficiencies, analyzing spend (including shadow IT), and supporting data-driven decisions around tooling and vendor strategy.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct deep-dive analysis into vendor spend, procurement activities, and contract usage
- Identify and assess shadow IT across the organization (unauthorized or unmanaged tools and subscriptions)
- Evaluate current tools and platforms to determine effectiveness, redundancy, and cost efficiency
- Partner with procurement, finance, and IT teams to align on vendor strategy and governance
- Gather and document business requirements related to vendor selection and tool rationalization
- Build reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders
- Support vendor assessments, RFP processes, and benchmarking efforts
- Recommend opportunities for cost savings, consolidation, and process improvements
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in procurement, vendor management, or IT environments
- Strong analytical skills with experience working with large datasets (Excel, SQL, or BI tools)
- Experience identifying cost-saving opportunities and process inefficiencies
- Familiarity with procurement processes, vendor lifecycle management, or IT asset management
- Ability to translate data into actionable insights and communicate clearly to non-technical stakeholders
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving mindset
Nice to Have
- Experience with SaaS spend management or IT financial management
- Exposure to tools like ServiceNow, Coupa, Ariba, or similar platforms
- Background working with cross-functional teams (Finance, IT, Procurement)
