The HT Group is seeking an experienced Bilingual Collections Manager for a Direct Hire, fully on-site opportunity near Austin, TX. This is an exciting opportunity to grow the collections department from the ground up. The Collections Manager would work directly with the Chief of Lending and Chief of Credit to build out the processes and regulations for the growing team, while also managing the current collection needs. This client continues to grow, and they are seeking a proactive leader who is ready for a challenge! Bilingual in Spanish & English is a requirement.
Requirements:
– Bilingual (Spanish & English)
– 3+ years of experience in consumer loan collections
– Ability to work onsite, M-F 8a-5p
– Knowledge of Collections compliance laws
– Experience in collections at a regional bank or Credit union a MUST
– Experience in management highly preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and lead the consumer loan collections function from the ground up
- Work directly with Chief of Credit and Chief of Lending to build out processes
- Develop and implement efficient collection strategies and procedures
- Partner with Loan Officers to centralize and streamline collections efforts
- Monitor delinquency trends and report on portfolio risk
- Hire, train, and manage additional collections staff as the team expands
