The HT Group has a financial services client in Austin, TX looking for a Part-Time Accounting Associate who is detail-oriented, organized, and process-driven to support daily treasury operations, cash reporting, lender reporting, and financial reconciliations in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and distribute daily cash reports, including cash balances, inflows, outflows, and liquidity updates.
- Compile and submit daily borrowing base calculations by following established procedures and documentation.
- Prepare and transmit daily verification files to lending partners accurately and on time.
- Assist with monthly debt facility reporting and lender compliance documentation.
- Reconcile and maintain reserve accounts, investigating and resolving discrepancies as needed.
- Support recurring treasury and accounting processes while ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- 1–2 years of accounting, bookkeeping, banking, finance, or related administrative experience preferred.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy when handling financial data.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, sorting, filtering, and data validation.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet recurring deadlines.
- Comfortable working with financial systems, online banking platforms, and accounting software.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with QuickBooks, Salesforce, treasury operations, cash management, reconciliations, or lender reporting is a plus.
Schedule & Perks:
- Part-time, approximately 20–25 hours per week
- In-office Monday through Thursday in Downtown Austin
- Optional work-from-home Fridays
