The HT Group is partnering with a reputable law firm in Houston seeking a Marketing and Business Development Coordinator to join their team onsite. This role is ideal for a self-starter with legal marketing experience who thrives in a collaborative environment and excels at managing deadlines, building trust, and providing proactive support to attorneys and practice groups. This position does require 1-3 years of experience working in a law firm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with attorneys and leadership to develop and execute marketing and business development initiatives
- Conduct market research and analysis to support firm-wide and practice-specific growth strategies
- Monitor external and internal trends to identify and develop new market segments
- Maintain strong relationships with third-party vendors, contractors, and industry organizations to support the firm’s client service mission
- Manage and update the firm’s social media presence; contribute insights to improve SEO strategies
- Develop public relations content such as thought leadership articles, press releases, attorney bios, advertisements, and newsletters
- Coordinate events and sponsorships that promote the firm and support client development goals
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field
- 2–5 years of experience in Marketing, Business Development, Recruiting, or a related field
- 1–3 years of experience working in the legal industry is required
- Demonstrated ability to manage social media accounts and basic SEO knowledge
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, WordPress, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and social media platforms
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Involvement in the Legal Marketing Association (LMA) is preferred
