The HT Group is currently seeking an Administrative Assistant for a client based in Nederland. This is a contract-to-hire position offering $16-18hr DOE, with a schedule of Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide general administrative support to management and staff
  • Greet guests: Answer and direct phone calls and respond to emails in a professional manner
  • Maintain office organization and manage office supplies/inventory
  • Set up meeting spaces for management, clients, and guests
  • Perform data entry tasks, including per diem tracking
  • Prepare and file documents; assist with reports
  • Support projects and billing processes as needed
  • Stay flexible and adapt to evolving company processes and responsibilities
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management in alignment with company growth

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in an administrative position
  • General computer proficiency and comfort with technology
  • Proficiency of Excel (no advanced formulas required)
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Dependable, fast learner with a positive attitude
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to adapt to new tasks and shifting priorities
