The HT Group has a manufacturing client in Austin, TX looking for a Warehouse Logistics Coordinator who is experienced, organized, and solutions-focused to serve as a senior operational resource supporting shipping, receiving, fulfillment, carrier coordination, and daily warehouse logistics.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate daily shipping, receiving, order fulfillment, and outbound shipment activities.
- Book and coordinate orders and shipments while working closely with FedEx and other transportation carriers.
- Monitor logistics workflows and help ensure customer orders are processed and shipped on time.
- Troubleshoot shipment discrepancies, documentation issues, and other day-to-day operational challenges.
- Maintain accurate logistics records and support material movement, staging, palletizing, and shipment preparation.
- Provide guidance, mentoring, and training to Logistics Coordinators and Warehouse Associates without serving as a formal people manager.
- Identify workflow inefficiencies and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of logistics experience, including senior- or lead-level operational experience.
- Strong knowledge of shipping, receiving, fulfillment, carrier coordination, and warehouse operations.
- Experience with WMS, ERP, TMS, shipping software, or related logistics systems; NetSuite experience is a plus.
- Ability to mentor and support team members while remaining hands-on in daily operations.
- Strong organizational, communication, problem-solving, and prioritization skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional warehouse and manufacturing environment.
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification is a plus.
