Job Overview
Civil Supervisor will be responsible for scope from start to end of the construction project reviewing structures, managing suppliers, and following up on construction schedule.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 7 years of on-site construction experience, with a focus on civil, architectural, or steel structure (CUB) work.
- Proven experience supervising structural steel activities including anchor bolt installation, steel erection, bolting, welding, painting/galvanizing, and related inspections.
- Strong understanding of module installation and lifting management.
- Ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working with and overseeing subcontractors.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail, follow-through, and documentation.
- Skilled in reporting, issue tracking, and risk management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.) and experienced with AutoCAD, Navisworks, and 3D modeling software such as BIM and Tekla.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve field issues.
- Comfortable attending and contributing to regular technical and project meetings.
- Ability to interpret contracts, project specifications, codes, and technical drawings.
Required Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, architecture, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Experience in high-tech industrial projects (e.g., semiconductor plants).
- Previous involvement in steel structure installation and large-scale projects exceeding $50M.
- Experience in EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) projects—domestic or international.
- Exposure to factory and industrial construction environments.
- Experience working in international and multicultural project teams preferred.
