The HT Group is hiring an Civil & Building Supervisor for a high-profile, large-scale construction project supporting next-generation manufacturing. This role offers the chance to make a significant impact on a fast-moving, high-tech industrial build near Taylor, TX.

Job Overview
Civil Supervisor will be responsible for scope from start to end of the construction project reviewing structures, managing suppliers, and following up on construction schedule.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 7 years of on-site construction experience, with a focus on civil, architectural, or steel structure (CUB) work.
  • Proven experience supervising structural steel activities including anchor bolt installation, steel erection, bolting, welding, painting/galvanizing, and related inspections.
  • Strong understanding of module installation and lifting management.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working with and overseeing subcontractors.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail, follow-through, and documentation.
  • Skilled in reporting, issue tracking, and risk management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.) and experienced with AutoCAD, Navisworks, and 3D modeling software such as BIM and Tekla.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve field issues.
  • Comfortable attending and contributing to regular technical and project meetings.
  • Ability to interpret contracts, project specifications, codes, and technical drawings.

Required Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, architecture, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Experience in high-tech industrial projects (e.g., semiconductor plants).
  • Previous involvement in steel structure installation and large-scale projects exceeding $50M.
  • Experience in EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) projects—domestic or international.
  • Exposure to factory and industrial construction environments.
  • Experience working in international and multicultural project teams preferred.
