Job Overview
The Electrical Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all electrical construction activities on site, including wiring, panel installation, conduit work, and testing. This role ensures that work is completed safely, on schedule, and in compliance with all relevant codes and standards. Coordination with other teams and subcontractors is a key part of the role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate electrical/control system installation and inspection activities.
  • Monitor daily progress and ensure work is completed safely and according to schedule.
  • Review construction schedules, progress, and inspection documents with subcontractors.
  • Provide feedback on deficiencies or non-compliance issues and ensure follow-up actions are taken.
  • Confirm readiness before inspection requests.
  • Perform quality checks on off-site fabricated components and incoming materials.
  • Inspect material storage and construction site conditions.
  • Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 5–10 years of experience in electrical work on industrial or plant construction projects, including at least 3 years in a supervisory or engineering role.
  • Strong knowledge of NEC, OSHA, and other relevant electrical and control codes and standards.
  • Proven ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, DWG drawings, and construction contract documents.
  • Experience managing multiple subcontractors and coordinating across disciplines.
  • Skilled in organizing and prioritizing tasks in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
  • Excellent attention to detail, strong sense of responsibility, and commitment to quality and safety.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across teams.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.); experience with Trimble software is a plus.
  • Familiarity with large-scale construction projects ($50M+), particularly in oil & gas or semiconductor industries.
  • Relevant electrician licenses or certifications (e.g., Journeyman, Master) are preferred.
  • Experience working in international or multicultural environments is a plus.
