The HT Group is currently assisting our client in the search for a Business Development Associate with 5 – 7 years of experience in the EPC industry/Oil and gas industry and a basic understanding of the FEL/EPC project lifecycle. This role will be based in Southwest Houston, Texas

SPECIFIC DUTIES
- Support proposal activities.
- Communicate closely with client personnel.
- Works closely with the senior team members on business development tasks to gain exposure to key business processes.
- Analyzes hydrocarbon and ESG related market value chain and its trend to identify project opportunities and development of business.
- Assist in the development and execution of sales strategies, tactics, and action plans that target growth in downstream, petrochemical, and energy transition markets.
- Works closely with senior team members to develop and implement sales strategies, tactics and action plans that achieve aggressive sales growth at targeted margins for designated products.
- Coordinate timely and complete provision of the requisite inputs for processing proposals as well as supporting the internal process for all binding proposals to ensure high proposal quality.
- Coordinate and ensure that all sales data and reporting responsibilities are managed within the expected deadlines.
- Participate in client meetings, industry events, and internal strategy sessions to build market insight and professional acumen.
- Other duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Oil & Gas engineering, business, or equivalent preferred.
- Five to seven years of business development experience in the EPC industry/Oil and gas industry.
- Basic understanding of the FEL/EPC project lifecycle and willingness to deepen market knowledge.
- Has the basic understanding of the industry and strong willingness to learn and grow.
- Strong desire to seek long-term development within the organization
- Proven ability to develop relationships within the EPC market space.
- Customer-focused, possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, and have the demeanor and professionalism required to build strong relationships, both within and outside the company.
