The HT Group is currently assisting an international electronics manufacturer & distributor based in Austin, Texas in the search for a qualified Inside Sales Representative for an immediate, growth-created need. Our client is looking for a money-motivated, B2B sales professional who has demonstrated the ability to identify, evaluate and develop new business opportunities as well as nurture established key accounts. The role will be based in North Austin.
Direct Hire – Base up to $70K

Responsibilities
- Retaining and expanding existing company relationships, product lines, and market segments
- Handle Key Accounts
- Identify, develop, and close business with new customers
- Prospecting new business opportunities from existing and prospective customers
- Identifying potential new markets and business opportunities, increase market share and strengthening company’s competitive position within the industry.
- Working with other sales and marketing team members to enhance technical visibility and company image within all accounts
- Keeping abreast of market needs and sales trends
- Prospecting via phone and cold calling
- Providing detailed and accurate reports to management on activities, forecasts, and related sales data
- Maintaining and updating SalesForce, including data entry, follow-up and lead tracking
- Maintaining a comprehensive and up-to-date knowledge of company’s products, customer’s applications and competitive product differences
- Build strong alliance with partners within the operating territory or vertical
- Provide customer quotes, ROI, proposals and product information based on specific use case and business value
- Be excited to work with customers in all of our verticals including law enforcement and military
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 4+ years of Inside, B2B sales experience with a documented history of new business development required.
- Previous SalesForce CRM experience required.
- Strategic sales thinking
- Experience selling into government or emergency management/first responder agencies preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills along with strong presentation skills.
- Self-starter with excellent time management, planning, and organization.
- Goal-oriented team player and a self-starter who is highly motivated to succeed.
