The HT Group has partnered with a leading company in the road transportation services sector to find a dynamic General Manager to oversee and drive operations across multiple Northern Nevada locations. This is a critical leadership role responsible for managing a multi-million-dollar operation with a large team and vehicle fleet. We’re looking for a motivated, business-minded operator with a passion for building strong teams and a proven track record in high-volume logistics, towing, fleet, or similar service-based industries.
Location: Reno, NV (Must be local or open to relocation)
Compensation: $130,000–$150,000 base + bonus eligibility
Key Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day operations across multiple branches within Northern Nevada
- Oversee a team of 75+ employees and manage a fleet of 60+ vehicles
- Drive financial performance through effective P&L management and budget oversight
- Execute on quarterly company priorities, KPIs, and strategic goals
- Build a strong operational culture rooted in accountability, safety, and continuous improvement
- Ensure seamless 24/7/365 service delivery, including dispatch and emergency response coordination
Requirements
- 7+ years of operational leadership experience in towing, transportation, logistics, environmental services, or similar
- Experience running a fleet-based operation, including oversight of dispatch and on-demand services
- Strong understanding of financial metrics and KPIs; able to make data-driven decisions
- Demonstrated ability to manage P&L and drive consistent business results
- Experience leading large teams in dynamic, high-pressure environments
- Environmental services experience is a plus
- Must be highly motivated, growth-oriented, and capable of driving culture and performance improvements
- Willingness to be hands-on in a 24/7 operation
