Overview:
Our client—a global SaaS organization undergoing a high-stakes Salesforce transformation—is seeking a seasoned Salesforce Program Manager to lead and coordinate multiple workstreams as the client-side owner during a major implementation. This individual will serve as the strategic right-hand to the CIO, manage the full Salesforce roadmap, and help steer early AI integration initiatives. This role requires a blend of technical program management, executive communication, agile governance, and strategic thinking.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program Leadership:
Own and manage the delivery of all Salesforce-related projects, acting as the lead coordinator across multiple teams (internal and vendor) during a Big Four-led implementation. - Executive Partnership:
Operate as an extension of the executive team (CIO/VP level), providing clear visibility into program health, risks, and alignment with strategic business objectives. - AI Roadmap Support:
Partner with development leadership to frame, guide, and manage initiatives around embedded AI use cases, custom LLM/bot capabilities, and third-party AI application evaluations. Provide strategic support to leadership through meeting orchestration, roadmap planning, cross-department communication, and executive-level presentation preparation. - Cross-Functional Coordination:
Align internal stakeholders (Product, Engineering, Operations, Legal, etc.) with system integrators and external vendors to ensure cohesive delivery.
Required Experience:
- 15+ years of enterprise program/project management experience, with a minimum of 8+ years focused on Salesforce transformations
- Deep experience managing global teams, including India-based development and support staff
- Hands-on familiarity with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, CPQ, Pardot, and NetSuite or ERP integration
- Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional teams across matrixed organizations
- Experience supporting or leading AI/ML product or platform initiatives, including embedded or third-party AI solutions
- Proven success operating in fast-paced SaaS environments
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and vendor oversight skills
- Certifications such as PMP, Certified Scrum Master (CSM), or Salesforce Admin are highly preferred
Preferred Attributes:
- Background in a SaaS or technology-first organization
- Ability to act as a thought partner to senior executives and internal IT teams
- Comfortable wearing multiple hats in a scaling enterprise, with evolving structures
- Experience working within organizations undergoing digital transformation or M&A activity
- Familiarity with legal/procurement-led contracting processes
Contract Details:
- Target Start: End of June 2025
- Initial Term: 6–12 months
- Work Mode: Primarily remote; some availability during Central or Eastern U.S. business hours expected
- Pay Rate Range: TBD (based on proposal and candidate profile)
