The HT Group has partnered with a growing SaaS entity in the search for a temporary, remote HR Operations Specialist to provide temporary support during a significant organizational transition. This individual will join an established HR operations team and serve as an execution-focused resource supporting the separation of employee data and HR processes into two distinct ADP environments. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong, recent ADP experience who enjoys working with HR data, systems, reporting, and process improvement. The successful consultant should be comfortable working independently, managing detailed project work, and identifying opportunities to make HR processes more efficient.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the separation and transition of employee and HR data into two distinct ADP environments.
  • Validate, clean, organize, and prepare employee data for migration.
  • Audit transferred information to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
  • Assist with cleanup and standardization of employee job profiles.
  • Prepare HR reports and organize employee records and files.
  • Upload and maintain offer letter templates and other HR documentation.
  • Provide operational support during the open enrollment process.
  • Identify data discrepancies and work with the appropriate team members to resolve issues.
  • Assist with testing and validation leading up to the first payroll cycle within the new ADP environment.
  • Recommend process or system improvements where opportunities are identified.
  • Support additional HR operations and data-related projects as needed.

Qualifications

  • Recent, hands-on ADP HRIS experience required.
  • Experience supporting HR operations, HRIS, employee data management, or related HR functions.
  • Strong attention to detail and experience validating, auditing, and maintaining employee data.
  • Ability to work independently with limited direction and consistently meet project deadlines.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable working within a project-driven environment with multiple concurrent priorities.
  • Experience with HRIS implementations, migrations, integrations, corporate transitions, or carve-outs is highly desirable.
  • Experience with Notion is helpful but not required.

Engagement Details

This is a fully remote temporary assignment open to candidates located anywhere in the United States. The anticipated workload is approximately 25 hours per week, although additional hours—and potentially a full-time schedule—may be available for someone who can take on additional project work. Working hours are flexible provided deadlines are met and the consultant is available for key meetings.
The assignment is expected to continue through mid-January, including support through the organization’s first payroll cycle within the new ADP environment.
