The HT Group has an industrial fluid systems and manufacturing client in Cedar Park, TX looking for a Customer Account Specialist who is customer-focused, detail-oriented, and highly organized to serve as a primary point of contact for customers, manage orders and inquiries, and provide responsive support across sales and operations.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding products, pricing, availability, delivery, invoicing, and returns.
- Process customer quotes and orders accurately from start to finish.
- Assist customers with selecting product solutions that best meet their needs.
- Support the outside sales team through timely communication, coordination, and follow-up.
- Provide cross-functional support across purchasing, accounting, warehouse operations, and project administration.
- Address customer concerns and report complaints or errors in accordance with established quality procedures.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree in a business or technical field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of customer service or related experience; industrial product or instrumentation experience is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong customer-service mindset.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, time management, and ability to manage competing priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with strong computer and data entry skills.
- Ability to manage a multi-line phone system while simultaneously processing information electronically.
- Mechanical and mathematical aptitude preferred; technical product training will be provided.
