Help Build An Accounting Organization in the Multi-Site Medical Practice Management Space
The HT Group has partnered with a growing healthcare/practice management client located in Scottsdale (hybrid) in the search for an accomplished Sr. Accounting Manager/Junior Controller to help lead and scale its in-house accounting organization. This would be an ideal role for someone with extensive multi-site/multi-entity experience looking to move into a Controller role and help develop processes, procedures, and a team.
Role Duties
- Independently own the full accounting function and serve as the CFO’s primary accounting partner.
- Lead the monthly close, reconciliations, journal entries, reporting, and other routine accounting activities.
- Maintain accurate reporting across locations, customers, and cost centers.
- Support distributed-site P&Ls, rebates, allocations, accruals, and true-ups.
- Identify process and control gaps and implement scalable improvements.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on accounting foundation with the ability to independently manage the day-to-day function.
- 8+ years experience required; Can be a combination of corporate and public accounting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and/or Finance required.
- Active CPA a plus.
- Experience in a complex, multi-location, multi-entity, or multidimensional accounting environment.
- Understanding of reporting by location, customer, cost center, or similar operating dimensions.
- Experience with NetSuite or Sage Intacct accounting systems preferred.
- Advanced MS Excel proficiency required.
- Comfortable working with a very lean team and evolving processes.
- Self-directed, practical, accountable, and able to work effectively with onsite and remote teams.
- Must understand dimensional accounting and how financial data is structured across locations, customers, and cost centers.
