Electrical Supervisor (Electrical, Instrumentation, and Communication)

Location: Taylor, TX | Reports to: Construction Manager | Team: Electrical Construction

About the Role
Our client, a global EPC firm building a major semiconductor plant in Taylor, TX, is seeking an Electrical Supervisor to lead and coordinate all electrical construction activity on site. You’ll oversee wiring, panel installation, conduit installation, and testing while working closely with other construction teams and subcontractors to keep the project safe, compliant, and on schedule.

What You’ll Do

  • Monitor electrical and control installation progress and manage electrical subcontractors to ensure safe, accurate, on-schedule completion
  • Review schedules, progress, and inspection documents with subcontractors and confirm inspection requests on site
  • Flag deficiencies and non-compliance with codes, specs, and regulations, and follow up on corrective changes
  • Manage quality records, document reviews (ITPs, procedures), qualifications, and non-conformance control
  • Give final confirmation before inspections are requested for client supervision
  • Check construction quality at external shop work and products
  • Inspect incoming materials and the quality of materials subcontractors use
  • Routinely check material storage conditions and subcontractor work status

What You Bring

  • 5-10 years of electrical experience on plant construction projects
  • Working knowledge of the NEC, OSHA, and related electrical and control codes and standards
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and DWG files
  • Experience managing multiple subcontractors
  • Knowledge of construction contract documents, including technical specifications and drawings
  • Strong organization, attention to detail, and follow-through, with a proactive, risk-aware mindset
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a fast-paced, multicultural environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)

Preferred

  • 3+ years as an electrical engineer or supervisor
  • Experience on projects over $50M
  • Oil and gas or semiconductor plant experience
  • Trimble software experience
  • Journeyman, master, or other electrical licenses or certifications
  • International or multicultural experience

Additional Requirements

  • Able to commute to the field office
  • Available for overtime and weekend work as needed
