Ken Eissing’s career has focused on taking established middle market, tech enabled services businesses to new heights in industries in the midst of significant transformations. In his most recent position as President of Mood Media, a $450MM leading in-store media company, Ken drove dramatic improvements in sales, cash generation, operating, and employee engagement metrics by re-energizing and transforming this highly leveraged, publicly traded business with 1,900 people across 46 countries. These improvements directly led to the successful acquisition of Mood Media by leading private equity (PE) firms Apollo Global Management and GSO Capital (a division of Blackstone). Continuing on with the business under PE ownership, Ken directed Mood’s overall global operating strategy and executed two highly accretive acquisitions that drove improvements in enterprise value.

Prior to Mood Media, Ken guided a portfolio of credit and financial services related businesses through the ‘08/09 financial crisis in a division President level role as the Senior Vice President and General Manager, Commercial Services for NCO Group, a $1.4 Billion+ BPO business. Before this position, he served as the Senior Vice President and General Manager of Transworld Systems, Inc., a $90MM small business focused receivables management business that served over 50,000 business and healthcare clients. In each of these positions, Ken transformed and led the businesses to new revenue and profitability milestones.

Ken began his career at AT&T and held a variety of marketing, sales, and product delivery leadership roles with escalating responsibility during his 12 year tenure culminating with a General Manager role leading a 2,800 person nationwide sales organization.

Ken holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Stern School of Business at New York University and a B.S. in Finance & Economics from the State University of New York at Albany, and he has completed executive education programs at Thunderbird, the University of Southern California and the Center for Creative Leadership. He is an active member of the Austin chapter of Young Presidents Organization (YPO – Austin), an alumnus of AT&T’s exclusive Executive Development Program, and the founder of the Ken and Kathy Eissing Memorial Scholarship fund that honors the legacy of his parents.
