About the Opportunity

The HT Group is partnering with an established healthcare technology organization specializing in 340B program management and pharmacy solutions to find an experienced 340B Account Manager to join its team.

This is a fully remote, client-facing opportunity for a professional with strong knowledge of the 340B Drug Pricing Program who enjoys building long-term relationships, solving complex operational challenges, and helping healthcare organizations maximize the effectiveness of their programs.
The Account Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for an assigned portfolio of clients, providing ongoing program support, strategic guidance, software education, and performance analysis. This role combines 340B subject matter expertise with relationship management and problem-solving, making it an excellent fit for someone who enjoys working directly with healthcare clients without the emphasis on traditional outbound sales.
What You’ll Do

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned 340B clients, developing strong relationships and ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
  • Conduct regular client meetings to review program performance, address concerns, and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Provide ongoing guidance and support related to 340B program administration, operations, and software platforms.
  • Troubleshoot client issues, coordinate resolutions, and ensure timely follow-through on service requests.
  • Analyze program data and performance metrics to identify trends, operational inefficiencies, and opportunities for optimization.
  • Develop strategic recommendations aligned with client goals and program objectives.
  • Educate clients on 340B software functionality, workflows, and operational best practices.
  • Collaborate with internal 340B operations, technical support, and service teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of solutions.
  • Maintain proactive communication with clients regarding program updates, operational changes, and service needs.
  • Stay informed on 340B regulatory developments, industry trends, and program requirements to provide knowledgeable client support.
  • Identify potential program risks and work collaboratively to develop appropriate solutions.
  • Maintain accurate client records, communications, and account activity within CRM and internal systems.

What We’re Looking For

  • 2+ years of experience in 340B program administration, operations, or account management.
  • Strong working knowledge of the 340B Drug Pricing Program, including its operational processes and requirements.
  • 2+ years of direct client-facing experience, providing individualized support and managing ongoing customer relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot operational issues and provide practical solutions to clients.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical or regulatory information clearly.
  • Experience analyzing program data, identifying trends, and translating findings into actionable recommendations.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple client relationships, priorities, and deadlines.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Experience using CRM platforms such as Salesforce or comparable systems.
  • Bachelor’s degree.

Preferred Experience

  • 340B ACE (Apexus Certified Expert) certification is strongly preferred.
  • Experience supporting 340B covered entities, healthcare providers, or pharmacy-related programs.
  • Familiarity with 340B technology platforms and software-based program management.
  • Experience providing software training, client onboarding, or ongoing platform support.
  • Background in healthcare technology, pharmacy services, or 340B third-party administration.

What Makes Someone Successful Here

We’re looking for someone who combines strong 340B technical knowledge with a genuine passion for client service.
The ideal candidate understands the complexities of 340B operations and can confidently serve as a trusted resource for clients. You’ll need to be comfortable analyzing program performance, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating across internal teams to ensure clients receive responsive and effective support. Equally important is the ability to build relationships, communicate proactively, and take ownership of client needs from initial inquiry through resolution. This is a relationship management and client success-focused position rather than a traditional outbound sales role. The strongest candidates will enjoy helping existing clients succeed, strengthening long-term partnerships, and providing meaningful operational guidance.

Why This Opportunity?

This position offers the opportunity to combine specialized 340B expertise with meaningful client relationship management in a fully remote environment.
You’ll work directly with healthcare organizations, helping them navigate complex program requirements, improve operational performance, and make better use of technology designed to support their 340B programs. For someone who has developed expertise in 340B administration and wants to apply that knowledge in a more consultative, client-facing capacity, this is an opportunity to make a tangible impact while continuing to grow within the healthcare technology space.
