The HT Group is partnering with a real estate investment company to find a Staff Property Accountant! This person will be responsible for handling accounting transactions for assigned properties.
*Candidate must have Yardi and/or real estate accounting experience to be considered*
North Austin – Hybrid
Base of 60-80k + bonus

Responsibilities:
- Handle all transaction accounting for assigned properties including collections and AP
- Handle monthly journal entries and assist with month end duties
- Set up and maintain lease files electronically for existing and new tenants
- Set up and maintain current and new vendor files and attain all necessary vendor information
- Assist with Year End Cam Reconciliations
- Assist with new property acquisitions, such as, transferring utility accounts , etc.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting highly preferred
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a staff accountant
- Real estate accounting experience required
- Yardi software knowledge highly preferred
- High attention to detail and multi tasking abilities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
