Senior Financial Analyst (Operations)
Location: Austin, TX (Onsite)
Compensation: $55-65/hr DOE
Timeline: Contract/Temporary – 3-4 months
The HT Group is currently partnering with a high-growth services entity in the search for a contract Senior Financial Analyst to support the administration, reporting, and analysis of equity ownership and long-term incentive programs. This role partners closely with Human Resources, Operations, Legal, and Finance to ensure accuracy, compliance, and clarity around employee and investor equity data.
This position is ideal for someone with exceptional analytical skills, advanced MS Excel capabilities, and experience supporting HR, Operations, or Compensation teams with sensitive and complex data.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with HR, Legal, Operations, and Finance to gather and organize equity ownership and long-term incentive plan (LTIP) information
- Reconcile equity and LTIP data to supporting documentation with a high degree of accuracy
- Build and maintain complex Excel-based schedules, models, and reports related to equity ownership and LTIP allocations
- Develop reporting tools and templates to track changes in ownership, vesting, and award activity
- Ensure data integrity and consistency across multiple systems and documentation sources
- Support audits, compliance reviews, and internal reporting needs
- Provide clear, accurate, and timely communication of equity and LTIP information to internal partners
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- 5+ years of financial, operational, or compensation-focused analytical experience
- Expert-level MS Excel skills, including advanced formulas, modeling, and data structuring
- Experience supporting Human Resources, Operations, or Compensation teams with high-volume or high-sensitivity data
- Strong systems aptitude; ability to build processes and reporting frameworks
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work with urgency, take initiative, and manage multiple priorities
Preferred
- Experience with equity administration tools or incentive compensation systems
- Experience working with private-equity-backed or high-growth organizations
- Familiarity with reconciliation and documentation requirements for LTIP or equity programs
