The HT Group is partnering with a growing healthcare organization seeking an experienced Senior Proposal Writer to lead the development of complex, high-quality proposals supporting federal government opportunities. This is a hands-on role for an accomplished proposal professional who can independently manage the proposal lifecycle, translate complex technical and operational information into compelling content, and consistently deliver accurate, compliant submissions under tight deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead federal proposals from initial RFP analysis through final submission
• Develop proposal outlines, schedules, compliance matrices, and management plans
• Write, edit, and proofread technical and proposal narratives
• Partner with SMEs and cross-functional teams to gather and develop proposal content
• Facilitate proposal kickoffs, reviews, and ongoing stakeholder communication
• Monitor government amendments, Q&A, and solicitation changes
• Leverage AI-enabled tools to improve proposal development, content quality, collaboration, and efficiency
• Utilize Shipley methodology and best practices throughout the proposal lifecycle
• Independently manage multiple priorities and deliverables in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Ideal Background:
• 8-10+ years of federal government proposal management/writing experience, particularly with large, strategic opportunities
• Strong understanding of federal RFPs, compliance requirements, and procurement processes
• Extensive hands-on experience utilizing Shipley methodology
• Experience leveraging AI tools and emerging technologies within the proposal-development process
• Ability to work independently, take ownership of deliverables, and manage competing deadlines with limited oversight
• Excellent communication skills and experience collaborating with senior leadership and cross-functional SMEs
