Senior Salesforce Developer
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Developer to design, develop, and support enterprise-level Salesforce applications. This role is responsible for building scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions while collaborating within an Agile (Scrum) team environment.
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on development experience across the Salesforce platform, including custom development, integrations, and configuration-based solutions. This individual will contribute to solution design, development, documentation, testing, and ongoing application support across multiple environments.
On-call support may be required.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
- Design and develop Salesforce applications using both programmatic and declarative approaches.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to deliverables in alignment with team “Definition of Done.”
- Prepare technical specifications and ensure adherence to development standards and best practices.
- Perform coding, unit testing, peer reviews, and documentation.
- Conduct root cause analysis and resolve defects and production issues.
- Support deployments across development, testing, and production environments.
- Participate in system integrations, upgrades, and data migrations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional team members to ensure successful solution delivery.
- Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and enhancements for existing applications.
- Participate in on-call support rotations as needed.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience, including:
- Apex programming
- Visualforce pages
- Apex triggers
- Aura Components
- Lightning Web Components (LWC)
- Strong experience implementing declarative (no-code/low-code) solutions such as Flows, Process Builder, and Workflow Rules.
- 8+ years of experience working within full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) processes, including coding standards, version control, and change management.
- Experience designing secure, high-performance solutions on the Salesforce platform.
- Experience with end-to-end Salesforce implementations, including:
- Classic to Lightning migrations
- Data migrations
- Systems integrations
- Third-party application integrations
- Custom application development
- Experience implementing authentication protocols (e.g., OAuth).
- Proficiency in core web technologies including HTML5, JavaScript, and web services (REST, SOAP, JSON, XML).
- Experience integrating Salesforce with cloud-based and on-premises systems using standard and custom APIs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with version control and deployment tools (e.g., Git, Flosum, or similar).
- Experience creating custom reports and dashboards within Salesforce.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
