SUMMARY
We are hiring a Sr. Developer for a well established client in San Marcos. Requirements for this position include the availability to work onsite in San Marcos, TX 4-5 days/week and prior authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
The Sr. Developer will create, manage, and support applications under the .NET framework in an effective, efficient, and accurate manner with a high degree of customer service, technical expertise, and timeliness.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain existing .NET codebase (MVC, MAUI, WPF, ASMX, WCF)
- Maintain existing JavaScript codebase (Angular, React)
- Meet with various departments and Information Services managers to determine project requirements and timelines
- Develop software solutions by gathering requirements from various departments
- Document and demonstrate solutions by developing documentation and supports documents (e.g., flow charts, diagrams)
- Manage continuous integration system (Azure DevOps) to automate application builds, testing, and deployments to web servers
- Provide support/training for a team of junior developers
- Develop Mobile Application
- Maintain relationships with outside vendors as related to Application Development to ensure company and business goals are being met
QUALIFICATIONS
- Proficient with C# and front-end development languages (JavaScript, HTML5, CSS)
- Proficient with MVC software design
- Ability to work on multiple simultaneous projects, while in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents. Ability to respond effectively to sensitive inquiries or complaints. Ability to make effective and persuasive speeches and presentations on controversial or complex topics to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry
- Must possess a strong working knowledge of PC and server hardware, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, Sharepoint, LAN/WAN Networking, UNIX preferably AIX. Exceptionally strong working experience developing in the latest graphical toolsets, specifically .Net C## within a Visual Studio framework. Exceptionally strong experience designing and integrating with relational technology. Experience with Retail and/or Contractor Building Material applications is preferred
