The HT Group has partnered with a growing regional banking entity located in NW Austin in the search for a qualified Loan Officer for an immediate need. Our client is looking for a self-starter with solid relationships within the Austin area with previous in-house bank experience. This individual will generate mortgage production loans through external business development and internal partners and will qualify borrowers along with maintaining compliance and quality control standards.
Direct Hire – Base salary up to $60K+ commissions/solid benefits – Onsite – NW Austin, TX location
RESPONSIBILITIES
- High School degree or equivalent required
- 5+ years’ experience in the Austin mortgage loan origination, credit evaluation, underwriting, or processing required.
- Build and maintain referral networks and relationship for the Austin area
- Strong compliance understanding & problem solving skills related to residential loan origination.
- Exceptional Customer Service, highly motivated, focused, and goal oriented.
- Proven organisational skills with ability to multi-task.
- Experience with existing referral sources and customer relationships.
- Excellent computer literacy in all Microsoft Programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, Adobe Reader).
- Experience working with proprietary mortgage software systems.
- Proficiency in Spanish language a plus.
