Part-Time IT Trainer
Job Responsibilities
- Design and deliver IT training to employees using a variety of instructional methods and delivery mediums, including in-person and virtual sessions.
- Develop and present training materials such as PowerPoint presentations, live demonstrations, printed handouts, and instructional videos.
- Adapt training content and delivery approaches to meet diverse learning styles and technical skill levels.
- Support the rollout of new technologies by providing timely and effective user training.
Required Skills
- Ability to commit to a flexible, part-time schedule to support monthly IT training needs.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts clearly and logically.
- Ability to engage learners and facilitate interactive training sessions in both in-person and virtual environments.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, or a minimum of three (3) years of experience as an instructor, trainer, or teacher in a government or public-sector environment may be substituted for a degree.
- Proven experience developing and delivering training programs across a wide range of general technology applications used within a County or similar organization.
- Experience collaborating with IT project teams to test new technologies, develop training materials, and support system rollouts.
