A leading advanced manufacturing organization serving highly regulated industries is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead end-to-end order fulfillment execution across a complex, high-mix production environment. This role is critical to ensuring on-time delivery performance, operational accountability, and cross-functional execution excellence across the full order lifecycle — from order receipt through shipment. The Operations Manager will lead a team of Program/Project Managers and serve as the central coordination point between Production Control, Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Customer-facing teams. This is a high-impact leadership role essential to the organization’s operational performance and customer commitments.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop an Operations Project Management team across multiple shifts
- Own end-to-end order fulfillment performance across repeat, new product, and rapid response orders
- Establish and manage standardized product family lead times; communicate and drive organizational adherence
- Develop and implement scalable business processes to streamline order execution
- Monitor backlog and forecast consumption to ensure demand alignment with production capacity
- Lead cross-functional execution across Engineering, Manufacturing, Production Control, Supply Chain, and Logistics
- Identify delivery risks proactively and implement mitigation strategies
- Manage rapid response programs and track performance effectiveness
- Ensure Engineering readiness (tooling, programming, planning) to support manufacturing lead times
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on cycle time, communication, and execution discipline
- Manage customer milestone commitments post-order placement
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required (or equivalent manufacturing experience)
- 10+ years of progressive operations leadership experience within manufacturing
- Background in Production Control, Planning, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, or Project/Program Management
Technical & Leadership Skills
- Strong ERP / MRP, scheduling, and planning system experience
- Advanced Excel and MS Office proficiency
- Project and Program Management experience (MS Project preferred)
- Proven ability to lead in high-mix, low-volume, time-sensitive manufacturing environments
- Demonstrated success managing aggressive timelines and shifting priorities
- Executive-level communication and cross-functional leadership capability
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and business acumen skills
- Hands-on leadership style with strong people management capability
