Job Description:
As an Enterprise Architect you will be involved in both Pre-Sales and Implementation workflows.  You will work with customers and internal staff to present and deliver highly configured solutions to meet customer business needs.

Job Duties:

  • Responsible for Designing Enterprise Computer Systems and Building Supporting Documentation.
  • Supports team members during deployment and provides escalation assistance.
  • Communicates with customer and team members daily to ensure objectives are met.
  • Spends time with customers understanding needs and scoping solutions
  • Spends remaining balance of time on technical training and certification outlined in their training plan.
  • Logs time daily to reflect tasks completed.
  • Responsible for maintaining managed services systems and working with teams to ensure customer SLAs are met.
  • Responsible for continuously training, learning and improving based on prescribed training and professional development plan.

Role Requirements:

  • Must have knowledge of Enterprise and Datacenter Edge Network design.
  • Must have an understanding of SD-WAN and networks at scale.
  • Must understand Dynamic and Static Routing protocols.
  • Must understand Network Switching concepts.
  • Must understand edge network firewall concepts, and know how to design and configure an edge network security posture.
  • Must understand how to configure a business continuity posture for customer edge networks.
  • Must understand ISP layer connectivity and how to engage with service provider technical teams.
  • Must have strong troubleshooting skills for investigating issues on computer networks.
  • Must understand IPSec Tunneling protocols and installation methods.
  • Must understand Global Load balancing concepts and how to configure load balancers to meet different needs

Training:
3-6 months. 

Remote:
50/50 office to remote, some travel is necessary 25% or less but as they grow it will gain more traction. Mostly Texas but can travel nationwide. 
 
Working Hours:
8-5, however needs to do project work that is scheduled so may have occasional nights and weekends.
 

Top 3 skills:
Good interpersonal skills and leading teams, creative thinker – SD-WAN experience – routing/switching – Worked on/with Palo Alto networks, Cisco equipment Top 3 Nice to haves: – Ansible or automation orchestration components – CCNP Certification 

 Bachelor’s Degree:
Not required. 

Interview Process:
– 1 phone interview, – 1 technical skills assessment interview (whiteboard) – 1 onsite interview – 1 phone interview with executive – 1 final meet and greet site interview
